About Us
I Sabita Kumari member of Bihar Mahila Udyog Sangh, Mithila Painting, was born on 15th Oct, 1963 in a small village Navtolia, Laheriasarai, Darbhanga, Bihar. My father's name is Shri Mahavir Ram Mother's name Late Krishna Devi. I had my education in Darbhanga. I did my graduation from M.R. College, Darbhanga.
I Was interested in painting from early school days. After my marriage in 1981 and birth of two children, I retained my love for painting. I started my venture in 1990 with Rs. 5000/- . My elder brother Sanjay Pawan is my ideal. He spported me lot. After seeing my work he brought me to Patna.
In Patna, Kapur Madam was my 1st coustomer. At the same time I come in contact with Smt. Pushpa Chopra, who helped me lot. She always boost me & act as role model for me. Due to his grace & affection now I am established member of BMUS and recognized artist.
I am very thankful to my all colleagues who are always with me to support & withstand with me. I always belief in quality of work. For me my work is my religion.

I made may things under Madhubani Paintings. Saree, Salwar Suit are exclusively well. Wall hanging, Mobile Cover, Ladies top etc. are some productions which I make.
